FAQs

We understand that choosing a new home for your healthcare needs can be overwhelming.  To help tackle your anxieties, we have put together some information about our office and our mission.  Our number one priority is making you feel as comfortable and at home as possible.  Please take a look at the things we are reading, the questions we get asked, and what you can expect as a new patient with Fort Wayne Spine & Joint.

Are x-rays necessary for treatment?

We do not have x-ray equipment in our office and do not require x-rays up front. Upon examining your individual case, we may send you out for further imaging to the location of your choice if necessary.

Do I need a new patient examination?

Yes. Although most cases we see are straightforward, we will conduct a thorough neuromuscular and orthopedic assessment to diagnose your condition and make sure chiropractic care is safe and appropriate for you.

Do you take insurance?

Yes, we take insurance. We are in network with almost all major insurance carriers as well as Medicare and Medicaid. For information regarding a specific insurance, including a rough estimate of your costs, please contact our office and we can give you a quote of benefits.

Do you take walk-ins?

We will gladly collect all information and do our best to schedule you as soon as possible if you walk-in to our office, however, we do schedule patient appointments to ensure everyone gets ample time for treatment and diagnosis.

What is the cost of a first visit?

The simplest answer is that it varies. The cost of your first visit will depend on a few things from level of examination required to your insurance carrier to the amount and types of treatment you require. At the end of the day, we will work with you in any way possible to ensure you get the care you need.

What will I need to do to get started?

Contact our office via phone at 260-755-5953 or email us at [email protected]. We will get you set up with an online account, confirm your insurance and give you a quote of benefits all before you even schedule an appointment if you’d like.
